Offer check

Enter an offered salary and see where it falls against filed wages, BLS OEWS and the DOL wage levels. It runs in your browser.

Updated 2026-10-21. Data: FY2026 Q3 release.

Data, not advice. The wage level and percentiles here are estimates from public data. They are not a determination of any wage level for a filing or registration.

How the check works

It places your salary in the percentiles this site publishes: the wages employers filed for the same job (for one employer, and for the job in a metro), and the BLS OEWS wages for the job and metro. Between published percentiles it interpolates in a straight line; outside the 10th to 90th range it says only that the offer is below or above. It then estimates the DOL wage level by placing Levels I to IV at the 17th, 34th, 50th and 67th percentiles of the OEWS wages, the approximate positions DOL describes. The official thresholds for your job and area are in the DOL OFLC Wage Search.

Read it carefully. LCA wages are the bottom of each filing's offered range, so they run low next to what workers are paid. A certified filing is not a hire. OEWS covers every worker in a job, not new hires. Coverage here is 10,250 employers and 2,993 job-and-metro groups; see the methodology. Data: DOL OFLC (FY2026 Q3 release) and BLS OEWS (May 2025). Data, not advice.

Questions

Does the offer check send my salary anywhere?

No. The data file is downloaded once and the comparison runs in your browser. Only the optional email form below sends anything, and only the email address.

Why is my employer not found?

Every employer with at least 5 certified filings in the FY2026 Q3 release has a page here (10,250). An employer with 1 to 4 filings is found and named with its filing count, but has no wage figures, because groups that small are not published. Search by the name on the filing or a common name (for example AMD or Instacart). If nothing matches, the employer filed no certified LCA with a usable wage in this release; leave the employer empty to compare against the job and metro.

Is the wage level it shows official?

No. It is an estimate from OEWS percentiles. DOL computes the official thresholds for each job and area.
