Reading this site
The pages and tools do not need an account. Pages are served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs. The site counts page requests per page per day. The only thing the site keeps in your browser is your light or dark choice. This describes the site as built today: it sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party trackers, and this page will be updated before that changes.
The offer check and the embed builder
They run in your browser from a data file the page downloads. The salary, employer, job and metro you type are not sent anywhere.
Email sign-up
If you give your email address in a sign-up form, the form sends the address, the list you chose, the exact consent text shown next to the button, the page address, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived by, to the Income Brain service that runs the lists. You then get one confirmation email; nothing else is sent until you click its link (double opt-in). Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. The address is not sold or shared for marketing.
Lists
wages-updates: new filing-data releases, wage-level explainers and offer-check tips.data-api-dev: API changelog, new endpoints and dataset refreshes.rangecheck-updates: RangeCheck releases and pay-transparency law changes.
Public data
The wage pages summarize public Department of Labor and Bureau of Labor Statistics data at the employer level. They do not republish individual filings, and no preparer or contact fields are read.
Removing your address
Use the unsubscribe link in any email from the list.
