Using the site
Filed Wages is provided free for personal, research and professional use. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Not advice
The pages and tools present public data and explain it. They are not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, and they do not decide which wage level, occupation or filing applies to any person or job. An offer check result is an estimate from published percentiles. Decisions about visas, offers and hiring are yours and your advisers'.
Accuracy
We build from public Department of Labor and Bureau of Labor Statistics files and describe the method on the methodology page. Wages are the bottom of stated ranges for certified filings, not what any worker was paid. We try to be correct and fix errors we find, but the data is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and the site may be out of date between releases.
Data and content license
The underlying federal data is public. The pages, guides, layout and computed figures are the work of Filed Wages. You may quote short passages and figures with attribution and a link to the page. You may not copy the site at scale, scrape it to republish the pages, or resell the percentiles; the dataset and API are the routes for bulk use under their own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not overload the site with automated requests, try to break or bypass its release controls, or use it to harass or identify individuals. We may block traffic that does.
Links and third parties
Pages link to government sources and, in places, to other sites and paid products. We do not control those sites. Links to products we sell or that pay us are marked.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Filed Wages and its owner are not liable for losses from use of the site or reliance on its figures. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date below changes when we do. Continued use means you accept the current version. Questions go through the contact page.
